Oorfolk

The software I use for research offers many ways to visually show how everyone is connected through charts and diagrams. But I want to show more than just relationships. I want to tell the stories of my ancestors, where they lived, what they did, and what their lives might have been like.

I have focused on researching back six generations to the end of the 18th Century because I feel the information I find online is accurate and supported by documents. I try to learn as much as I can about each ancestor and write a short piece for each, often including my own thoughts and feelings as well as facts and dates.
