George Harrison is my three-times great-grandfather.
George Harrison was born in 1789 in Epsom, Surrey. He married Hannah Read on 7 May 1821 in Surrey, and together they had two children. He died prior to the 1841 Census.
I have found limited information about George beyond his birthplace, marriage year, and his two children. The eldest, Mary Ann, was born in 1829 in Epsom when George was 40.
The 1841 Census records that Hannah, his wife, and Mary were living in the St Pancras area of London, where Hannah is listed as a landlady.
Further research into the family, I have found that when his daughters were born in Epsom, George was employed as a Groom.
