Jane Angus (Barclay), my great-great-grandmother, was born in 1811 in Kirkliston, West Lothian, to Janet and Johnathan. She married John Barclay on 17 June 1830 in South Leith, Midlothian. Together, they raised five children over 18 years. Jane passed away on 13 April 1887 in Gorgie, Midlothian, at the age of 76.
